Various moves whose Japanese names contain はどう wave/pulse seem to use Aura. Aura Sphere is a move that explicitly uses Aura, and Aura may also be involved in the moves Dragon Pulse, Dark Pulse, Heal Pulse, and Water Pulse. These moves are capable of hitting a non-adjacent Pokémon in a Triple Battle, despite not being Flying. The Ability Mega Launcher boosts these moves by 50%.

Riley's animation in Platinum seems to suggest he can use Aura as well, as his hand lights with a blue glow. The Riolu Egg he gives the player is the only available Riolu in the game, and Riley also trains a Lucario.

In X and Y, Korrina claims that something in player's aura (Japanese: 波動 wave) is the reason one of her Lucario feels a bond with them.
