Alright, this has been on my mind ever since opening was re-opened to the public and I'd like input from others. Are Ride Pokemon notable enough for their own articles? Yes, Charizard and Lapras are owned by Kiawe and Lana, but it seems that they aren't really considered full members of their teams. Heck, Lana keeps Lapras at her house instead of in a Poke Ball or something. We always give articles to a Pokemon owned by a main character, but I have to point out that SM isn't like the series that came before it. Ash isn't on an adventure (at least not yet), and the total number of classmates is far higher than any of his permanent traveling companions. Because of this, I question the point of giving Charizard its own article, when it hasn't actually done anything as of yet. He didn't even use it against Team Skull. Turtonator I'm fine with because it seems to be his main battler, and is the more focused of his known Pokemon as evidenced by its Z-Move and placement with Kiawe in the opening and ending. I'm fine with it getting one if it does something in the near future, but for now I feel it's too early. Any thoughts on this? :As I said earlier, I also agree this is too soon to create a page for these yet. -Tyler53841 (talk) 19:19, 5 December 2016 (UTC)

::I think for the moment, we should treat Kiawe and Lana, and any of the other captains and kahunas, the same way we do Gym Leaders and Elite 4 members, only their signature Pokemon get articles.--<span style="color:#F1912B">F</span><span style="color:#F6B775">orce</span><span style="color:#5599CA">F</span><span style="color:#90BDDC">ire</span> 04:24, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
