Their kindergarten teacher, [[Daniela]], is opposed to the idea of letting Trubbish stay at the school because of its smell, but the children want to keep it. In the end, the conflict is resolved when Trubbish saves everyone from potential danger, and Daniela finds that Trubbish will stop releasing bad odors when it becomes [[Friendship|friendly]] towards a person.
