Those are bytes. Notice on the history the page size with each rendition of the page. The version I'm currently editing is 17,534 bytes, and your last edit added 324) bytes to the page. Red numbers can appear showing you removed data. You'll see large ones once in a while; see [[Pokémon Shuffle]] in fact to see that a huge split was just completed, in fact.
