This card was included in the English {{TCG|XY}} expansion, first released in the Japanese {{TCG|Collection Y}} with artwork by [[5ban Graphics]]. It was later reprinted as a Non Holofoil card in the Noivern Half Deck of the English {{TCG|XY Trainer Kit}}. In Japan, it was reprinted as an unnumbered {{TCG|XY-P Promotional cards|XY-P Promotional card}} with artwork by rina, one of the winners of the Your Favorite Pokémon category of the {{DL|Illustration contests|Pokémon Art Academy × Pokémon Card Game}} contest. The contest was held in Japan from December 14, 2014 to February 1, 2015 and had entrants create an illustration in [[Pokémon Art Academy]] of either a {{p|Pikachu}} in a costume or their favorite Pokémon. Entries had to be uploaded to {{wp|Miiverse}} and winners received 100 copies of the card featuring their illustration.
