Later as [[Diantha]], [[Gurkinn]] and [[Korrina]] have followed one of the Shabboneau owner's workers in a cave with Diancie, who he reveals he only pretended to work for him to get information about Diancie. After a battle, they are outside the cave where Diancie uses Moonblast and Diamond Storm to send the guy flying away. Afterwards the Shabboneau owner lets Diancie go find a home with the Carbink, before leaving Diancie shows interest in the Key Stones, and Gurkinn reveals that it is because Diancie is capable of Mega Evolving as well. Diancie then waves goodbye to the group with the Carbink.
+Diancie debuts in the {{chap|X & Y}}. It was first seen being desired by the [[Shabboneau Castle]] owner, who sent his butlers out to obtain Diancie for him. [[Diantha]], [[Gurkinn]] and [[Korrina]] later encountered Diancie being captured by one of the butlers. The butler reveals he only worked for the castle owner to get information about Diancie and proceeds to attack the trio. The butler is eventually defeated by Diancie's {{m|Moonblast}} and is sent running away. After saying their goodbyes, Diancie leaves with its Carbink companions to find a new home.
