In a {{m|Sandstorm}}'s {{DL|Weather|Gates to Infinity descriptions}}, it states "the {{color|{{blue color light}}|Sp. Def}} of {{tt|Rock types|note the lack of a hyphen}} goes up.". This would mean that things like "Charmander is a {{type|Fire}}" are incorrect, but things like "{{p|Charmander}} is a {{t|Fire|Fire type}}" '''are''' correct. In this case, "Fire type"/"Fire-type" is a noun anyway. You don't say adjectives after "is a(n)", you use nouns (e.g. "He is a runner" instead of "He is a running"). :You are almost entirely correct and in agreement with the "Nouns, capitalization, and specific terminology" section of the MoS. The only issue is that you said "Fire-type" is a noun, when it is not; it's exclusively an adjective, which is why "Charmander is Fire-type" is correct but "Charmander is a Fire-type" is incorrect. --[[User:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#A70000">'''Snorlax'''</span>]][[User talk:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#0000A7">'''Monster'''</span>]] 07:15, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
