:A small note: I read [http://34102238.at.webry.info/201310/article_10.html something] that suggests there's a special effect of some sort on your birthday, but it was very coy and didn't say what exactly, so I can't tell whether it's referring to the battle text message (and if the message actually only appears on your birthday, that should be noted) or something else entirely. Either way, the birthday Pokemon are gotten at Japanese Pokemon Center stores, so you'd need to be in Japan on top of changing your game's language to get them...
