* I should note that, if the Korean name was based on the Japanese name wholesale, it would've used 치 ''Chi'', not 티 ''Ti''. As such, I suspect that both names may be based on some loan word which would be rendered slightly different between Japanese and Korean... but I don't have a clue what it could be.
