Colress is ordered to control Anthea and Concordia's Gardevoir and Gothorita with the machine and succeds. Reshiram awakens from the Light Stone and Axew releases Iris and Cilan but not Professor Juniper or Looker. Ghetsis orders Reshiram to obey him and Colress immediately uses the machine to gain control of Reshiram for Team Plasma. Ghetsis commands Reshiram to use Fusion Flare and it obeys. They then decide to help stop Team Plasma. Colress aimed the control ray a Ash's Pikachu but Meowth distracts him and uses Fury Swipes on some of Team Plasma's Pokémon.
