:I think we're going to have to assume that's a mistake for now. We have box art and there is no "Version" on them. On Pokémon.com [http://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-video-games/pokemon-black-version-and-pokemon-white-version/ all other games] say "Version" while [http://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-video-games/pokemon-x-and-pokemon-y/ X and Y] don't.
