Meanwhile, Meowth and his friends are walking by a lake and Mime Jr. picks up a large diamond ring piece. Meowth throws it in the lake because he doesn't think it's what they are after. He suddenly realizes how valuable it is and knows that he made a mistake throwing it into the water. Walking down the park pathway, Pikachu and the others notice the yellow jewel on top of the roof of a building. They climb on to the roof but Meowth grabs it. They yell at Meowth to give it back because it is very important. A {{p|Murkrow}} flies down, grabs the jewel and flies away. The Pokémon yell for it to come back, but it's no good. Pichu whistles to call for help from some {{p|Drifloon}}. The Pokémon grab on to the Drifloon and go after the Murkrow. Mime Jr. uses {{m|Teeter Dance}} which causes Piplup to pull the Drifloon into a billboard, and Pikachu, Pichu, and Smoochum pull their Drifloon off course. Meowth and his friends make it to the Murkrow who is at the very point at the top of a tall building. The Drifloon float away after they land on the roof. Meowth uses {{m|Scratch}} which misses Murkrow, but the jewel drops out of its beak as Murkrow flies away. Meowth picks up the yellow jewel to celebrate as the singing Marill floats up with balloons to approach them. Marill uses Sing to put them to sleep. As they fall asleep, the yellow jewel falls out of Meowth's hand and floats to the in the air. After Marill finishes singing, it slaps the Pokémon with its tail.

They aren't able to grab it as it floats by and Piplup jumps to grab it, but falls and bounces on Snorlax's stomach and goes right back up to Drifloon who catches him. Pikachu is able to grab the jewel. As they are floating, they see an airplane that is yellow with {{p|Plusle}}, {{p|Minun}}, {{p|Munchlax}}, {{p|Latias}}, {{p|Latios}}, Pikachu, and {{Ball|Poké|Poké Balls pictured on it. The Pokémon wave as the plane passes them by. The clock tower rings, and the Pokémon realize that they are running out of time. Pikachu spots the purple jewel, and they run to go grab it. Meowth and his friends also were going after it, but the wind blows it away and it lands in the back of a pickup truck. The Pokémon see skateboards and ride them down the street bumping into each other, trying to catch the truck. After they first bumped each other, Pikachu and his friends rode up the side of the bridge on the skateboard. The second time they bumped each other, Pikachu and his friends went down a different street, while Meowth and the other Pokémon went down the street that the truck used. They catch up to the truck, but the Marill appears and uses Sing to put them to sleep. After Marill is done singing, it inflates and slaps them with its tail and sends them flying. They run into a fire hydrant, and the water shoots out of it making the purple jewel comes out of Meowth's hand and flies into the sky and ends up elsewhere. Meowth and the others are still sleeping on the water of the hydrant, while a bunch of Wooper dance around with a rainbow surrounding them.

Bellossom was wearing the pink outfit that she chose. Bellossom shows to them that she found the final jewel which was the green jewel. The ball that they were searching for before rolls by and Pikachu picks it up. The Pokémon go to the party, along with the Drifloon from before. Bellossom blows out its birthday candle on the birthday cake. Pichu places the birthday pendant on Bellossom, and she thanks everyone for the wonderful birthday party.
