Shopping Mall Nine: Difference between revisions

Like [[Department Store]]s in other regions, all the individual stalls are located on different floors. Unlike these stores, Shopping Mall Nine is fitted with stairs rather than escalators or elevators. (This is because the area is located within a single map of the game.) As a result, accessing different floors is quicker in Shopping Mall Nine than in other department stores.

* This is the first large store not to carry the [[Department Store]] name. This reflects [[Unova]]'s isolation from the other known regions.

* Despite Department Stores having been known for their TM selection, the Shopping Mall Nine only sells [[TM15|two]] [[TM68|TMs]].

* Due to its location and size it is probably based on the {{wp|Palisades Center}} in {{wp|West Nyack, New York}}. Its real life counterpart is the 10th {{wp|List of largest shopping malls in the United States|largest mall in the United States of America}} covering {{tt|2,217,322 square feet|205,996.0 m²}}.
