::(1) Logically, the Pokémon is not exposed to sunlight if it's not in the battle. (2) Do stat changes actually show up in the menu? I'm fairly sure they don't.--Loveはドコ? (talk • contribs) 06:14, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Dispute to Cherrim line
"Cherrim, the only Pokémon to have this Ability, also changes forms in sunlight, from a closed flower to one with spread petals; however, this is not caused by Flower Gift."
I'm not sure if this is 100% true. Upon facing a Cherrim in battle in Gen V (where ability names show up on the screen when activated), I saw it use Sunny Day, and the ability Flower Gift showed up, followed by the text "Cherrim changed form." This makes me think that the form change is a direct result of the ability. Schiffy (talk) 14:26, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
