He asks the player to show him one of his or her Pokémon, and gives out gifts that vary based on how many levels the Pokémon has gained since it was obtained. For 25 to 49 levels, he gives an {{DL|Experience-affecting item|Exp. Share}}; for 50 to 98 levels, he gives a {{DL|Repel|Cleanse Tag}}; and for 99 levels, he gives a {{DL|Evolution-inducing held item|King's Rock}}. He only gives out each item once.
