This Tretta was awarded as a prize to participants of Trophy Cup events held in conjunction with the Pokémon Tretta nationwide debut event in Japan on July 15, 2012. Each venue was limited to 100 entrants who were awarded either this Tretta, a {{OBP|Servine|July 2012 Trophy Cup}}, or a {{OBP|Pignite|July 2012 Trophy Cup}} at random. A Trophy Cup was held at Susono GrinPa Amusement Park, Shizuoka on July 22, 2012, with the same possible prizes awarded at random. A Trophy Cup was also featured as part of the Kids Games Festival in Summer, which ran from July 28, 2012 to September 9, 2012 in various locations across Japan. A Trophy Cup was held as part of the Pokémon Center Summer Festival in LakeTown, which took place at the kaze complex of the Aeon LakeTown shopping center, Saitama between August 11, 2012 and August 17, 2012. Another Trophy Cup was held as part of the Kids Games Festival in Hikarigaoka IMA, Tokyo on September 16, 2012.
