Fish have been used to represent Christianity, because in the Greek language, "Christ" and "Fish" share the same first letter. I know this because I was pretty much raised as a Catholic. The fish thingy is not a bad idea. It makes more sense to me than Delibird, because Christmas seems to me to have over the years lost its religious value and become more secular.
