An '''Idol''' (Japanese: '''アイドル''' ''Idol'') is a type of [[Pokémon Trainer]] that first debuted in the [[Generation IV]] games. In {{2v2|Diamond|Pearl}}, there is only one proper trainer from Idol class, an Idol Grace, who is found in the [[Jubilife City]] [[Jubilife TV|TV station]]. In {{game|Platinum}}, she will show up inside [[Oreburgh City]]'s [[Pokémon Center]] after the player defeats [[Gym Leader]] [[Gardenia]] in [[Eterna City]]. Other Idols can be randomly battled at [[Battle Tower (Sinnoh)|Battle Tower]]. They are teenage girls dressed up in elaborate pink pop star outfits with a microphone.
