This creates an inconsistency because other items that have had name changes outside of Japan as well as slight changes in effect weren't distinguished. It is thus illogical to create an exception in this situation, IMO. Is there something about the Lucky Egg that makes it more difficult to escape wild Pokemon? Because I've been trying to farm Audinos with the Lucky Egg, and when I get something else, I am hardly ever able to run away from the battle, at least not with the Pokemon with the Egg.
