Trivia

  • Normally the d in Pokédex is not capitalized. On the English and Italian prints of this card, it is.
  • In the French localization, this card and Pokédex from the Base Set share the same card name.

Origin

A Pokédex is an important piece of equipment in the Pokémon games. This model is the HANDY909, used in the Generation III remakes of the Generation I games.

This card's effect is an improved version of New Pokédex from the Neo Genesis expansion, which has a similar effect except it only allows the player to look at the top 5 cards of their deck instead of the top 6.
