The Parcel (Japanese: おとどけもの Parcel), known as Oak's Parcel prior to Generation IV, is a Key Item introduced in Generation I.

Red, Blue, Yellow, FireRed, LeafGreen, Let's Go, Pikachu!, and Let's Go, Eevee!

When delivered to Professor Oak at his laboratory, he will give a Pokédex^RBYFRLG and a set of Poké Balls^FRLG, or a set of Razz Berries^PE to both the player and the rival.

Some additional events happen once the Parcel is delivered:

• The old man^RBYFRLG or the Team Rocket trio^PE stops blocking Viridian City's north exit.
• The rival becomes available for an optional battle on Route 22.
• The player will be able to obtain the Town Map.
• One of Professor Oak's Fame Checker entries is unlocked.^FRLG
• The player will become able to receive Professor Oak's evaluation^RBYFRLG at his laboratory or his PC, battle or trade Pokémon with other games, and buy items from Viridian City's Poké Mart.

Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Brilliant Diamond, and Shining Pearl

When brought to the player's rival in Jubilife City's Trainers' School, the Parcel will be opened, revealing that it contains two Town Maps. The player and their rival take one each.
