Hypno's Crowd Control Deck (TCG)

The Hypno's Crowd Control Deck is a predominantly type deck found in the Team Rocket Strategy Guide. The deck is classified as one of the advanced decks in the book, containing more rare cards than the easy-to-build decks.

Description

Challenge! is a great card. Whether your opponent accepts the challenge or not, you get something with this card. Dark Hypno's Bench Manipulation attack can do up to 100 damage if your opponent's Bench is full. Wigglytuff's Do the Wave attack does 60 damage if your Bench is full. If your opponent declines the Challenge!, you still get to draw two cards.

Another way to keep your opponent's Bench full is to play Pokémon Flute. It doesn't just make Dark Hypno's Bench Manipulation do more damage. You can put a Pokémon you Knocked Out or one that your opponent discarded onto his or her Bench. Choose one that you can Knock Out easily, then play Gust of Wind to make that your opponent's Active Pokémon.

You might be able to play some of your Trainer cards an extra time or two as well with this deck. Slowpoke's Scavenge attack can be used to get Trainer cards from your discard pile. You can use the same Pokémon Flute and Gust of Wind to Knock Out a Pokémon several times.
