"A" (Japanese: Aさん Ms. A) is a recurring character in the Pokémon Adventures manga. Her real name is unknown.
History
Red, Green & Blue arc
A first appeared in Danger: High Voltorb. She was seen on a newspaper that Red was shown to by the Pokémon Fan Club Chairman. She had received a shock when taking a bath with her Tentacool.
Gold, Silver & Crystal arc
In The Last Battle XIII, she was seen taking another bath with her Tentacool. A was one of the people who heard a message from the Pokémon Fan Club Chairman asking for people to send their Pokémon to help battle Ho-Oh and Lugia.
Emerald arc
In Epilogue, A and her Tentacool were among the many people who went to the Battle Frontier as a result of Scott wishing on Jirachi.

Trivia
- In the English versions of Danger: High Voltorb by Chuang Yi and VIZ, there is a quote by A that was not found in the Japanese version: "That's the last bath I'll take with my Tentacool!" This contradicts her later appearance in The Last Battle XIII, where she is seen bathing with her Tentacool again.
