'''Zoey's Gastrodon''' (Japanese: '''ノゾミのトリトドン''' ''Nozomi's Tritodon'') is a Pokémon owned by [[Zoey]] in the anime. It is used in many of her Contests.

Zoey {{pkmn2|caught}} Gastrodon as a {{p|Shellos}} shortly after the events of ''[[DP034|Buizel Your Way Out Of This!]]''. After failing to catch a {{pkmn2|wild}} {{AP|Buizel}} that {{an|Dawn}} later caught, she stayed in the area around the river to find another {{type|Water}} {{OBP|Pokémon|species}}. Shellos then made its first appearance in ''[[DP041|A Stand-Up Sit-Down!]]'' where it helped its {{pkmn|Trainer}} teach {{an|Dawn}} about [[Double Performance]]s in preparation for the {{ci|Hearthome}} {{pkmn|Contest}}. It created a stunning [[Contest combination|combination]] with its own {{m|Mud Bomb}} attack and {{TP|Zoey|Glameow}}'s {{m|Shock Wave}}. The two later teamed up for Zoey's battle with [[Jessie|Jessilina]]. Their combinations were far better than {{TP|Jessie|Seviper}}'s and {{TP|Jessie|Dustox}}'s and they won the match.

Zoey used it in the first round of the Hearthome City Pokémon Contest in ''[[DP049|Dawn's Early Night]]'', it again teamed up with Glameow in a Double Performance and easily got her through to the [[Contest Battle]]s.

It later made a short appearance in ''[[DP078|Pruning a Passel of Pals!]]'' beating a {{p|Mareep}} in the [[Wallace Cup]] allowing Zoey to move on to the next round. In ''[[DP093|Playing The Leveling Field!]]'' it was revealed that Shellos helped win Zoey her third [[Ribbon]].

In ''[[DP174|Last Call — First Round!]]'', it was revealed to have [[Evolution|evolved]] into a {{p|Gastrodon}}. Zoey used it in the [[Appeal|Performance Stage]] of the [[Sinnoh Grand Festival]] with Lumineon where they performed with their {{m|Water Pulse}} and {{m|Aqua Ring}} attacks to give a unique appeal. After making it through the round, the two Pokémon were used in Zoey's [[DP175|first round battle]] where once again they won. It was used once [[DP176|again]] in the event with Glameow to secure Zoey's place in the semifinals.
