Visquez was first seen battling a {{pkmn|Trainer}} and his {{p|Hypno}} with her {{p|Raichu}}, eventually emerging victorious. While cleaning up the mess left by the battle, she received word that a challenger was coming to battle her for the [[World Coronation Series]], who turned out to be {{Ash}}. Visquez remembered Ash from his battle against Lt. Surge, and they had a two-on-two battle, with Visquez using her Raichu and {{p|Electrode}} against [[Ash's Pikachu]] and {{AP|Gengar}}. The battle ended in Visquez's loss, causing her rank to go down.
