::I wouldn't say that just because one Legendary has gender then that suddenly means every Legendary has a gender, for example, Heatran has a gender, but does that mean that Mewtwo, or Palkia, or Deoxys have a gender? Nope. I know games aren't the same as the animé, of course I know that, but I was assuming. Also I didn't actually know about this Silver, t'was probably in a episode I didn't get to watch so yeah. I'd just say Silver is a special case... I mean there's been no other mention of Legendaries having genders in the animé other than that right? Aside from Latias and Latios, Heatran and Cresselia, of course. :::Well there have been occasions in the anime where there are multiple legendary Pokémon compared to the one that's available in the games. This would include Celebi and Shaymin. Not to mention that there are two different Mew in the anime. The only reason genders weren't given to most legendary Pokémon in the games was so that they would be unable to breed. I doubt it's the same case in the anime. It's best to leave it as Unknown. You should check the other anime Legendary pages. They all say unknown too. --ケンジ'の'ガール 21:30, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

::::Still, just because theres more than one doesn't mean they have a gender. These are Legendary Pokémon, they've been around for hundreds of years (presumably), they could just be immortal, with no need to reproduce, thus no need for genders. I'm not arguing, merely pointing out, I accept that Bulbapedia recognizes them as "Unknown" rather than "None" when it comes to gender.
