:Combusken's area entrees for Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, HeartGold, and SoulSilver tells you to evolve Torchic because there is no other way in-game to obtain Combusken and Torchic was obtainable in those games. X and Y tells you to evolve the event Torchic. However, in other games like FireRed and LeafGreen, it tells you to trade because there is no other way to get Torchic or Combusken. Now, let's take Butterfree for instance, in the Johto games, it lists Route 2, Bug-Catching Contest, and Headbutt trees, but doesn't tell you to evolve Metapod even though Metapod can be caught and evolved. However, in the games that don't have wild Butterfree, they do tell you to evolve Metapod because there is no other way to obtain Butterfree in those games. And we have a list of Pokémon that appeared in the Friend Safari according to a japanese guidebook that seems accurate to people who played the game and been to the Friend Safari. So it does have a set amount that appear. Even though it is random, Pokémon like Rattata wouldn't appear. And I think it is very bad if we just ignore the Friend Safari. And throughout the debate, people have compared it to the White Forest, which we put on the Pokémon that appear there. I do not see the problem in covering it. I only see a problem in not doing so. SeanWheeler (talk) 23:08, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

You forgot another Pokemon Champion with a mono-type they use.
The one you forgot was Iris who uses a Team of Dragons. Not all of her team are Dragon types but it's the exact same with Steven when some of his are Rock types as well or Ground. Just letting you know in the summary of the Pokemon Champion page you forgot Iris and no unlike many people I do not think Alder is a bug master. I know he's varied.
