Situations that would have killed Ash and his friends (like in the Bridge Bike Gang, with the falling into the water while a ship was crossing, or in Pokemon Paparazzi, where Ash would've been killed if he fell down the waterfall, but Team Rocket did fall, and survived, or in Shell Shock, when Ash and the others would've been crushed by the boulder, but James survives a fall into a canyon with the same boulder on top of him. Also Team Rocket should've drowned in the St. Anne, and survived two falls that Meowth said was going to kill them. Team Rocket are IMMORTAL! And not just the trio. If I recall correctly, Giovanni survives two explosions he was caught in that were caused by Mewtwo, one of which was the same size as the explosion that killed Dr. Fuji (also caused by Mewtwo).
