So as has been suggested on the talk page for the MSP template, I think it would be a good idea to change it to use HOME icons. Not every Pokemon has a pixel art sprite, which means that the Pokemon from PLA are wildly inconsistent compared to all other Pokemon at the moment (which I think is best shown on the National Dex page. Changing all Pokemon to use the HOME icons would fix this problem and make all Pokemon icons consistent, as well as make it future proof for upcoming games and generations. Since the page is protected most of us can't edit it, but if you (or another admin) could make that change whenever you get the chance that'd be much appreciated. Thanks! == Death in the Pokémon world ==

What are your thoughts on this article? Do you think it has potential to be mainspaced? I still think it needs expanding (reasons are listed in the incomplete template on the article itself) but I was just curious if you'd think it would be a good article and if you had any advice or comments about how it could be improved. If so, it would be much appreciated! <span style="font-family:Tahoma"><font color="F34134">Land</font><span style="font-family:Tahoma"><small><font color="8334B7">fish7</font></small></span></span> 09:50, 11 July 2022 (UTC)
:Hey, thanks for the idea of creating an article about death in the Pokémon world. I don't know if anyone else would disagree, but at least I find it interesting. In a way it's like how we already have Illness in the Pokémon world too.
:Sometimes I've been thinking that possibly just "Illness" or "Death" may or may not work as shorter titles instead of "Illness in the Pokémon world" and "Death in the Pokémon world". But whatever the title, I like the idea.
:Alright, I see how it can also be expanded with manga info, more Pokédex entries, etc. (as said in the incomplete template) --Daniel Carrero (talk) 00:53, 12 July 2022 (UTC)

Pokémon categories
Should the List of Pokémon categories by abundance be moved to List of categories by abundance to be consistent with List of categories in other languages? And if not, should the latter be moved to match the former? <span style="font-family:Tahoma"><font color="F34134">Land</font><span style="font-family:Tahoma"><small><font color="8334B7">fish7</font></small></span></span> 03:24, 14 August 2022 (UTC)

<span style="font-family:Tahoma"><font color="F34134">Land</font><span style="font-family:Tahoma"><small><font color="8334B7">fish7</font></small></span></span> 03:26, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
::Oh it's good that you mentioned that kind of inconsistency. I suppose either name can work, they can be discussed if people want.
::For now I moved "List of Pokémon categories by abundance" to "List of categories by abundance" (without the word "Pokémon") for consistency with the older page "List of categories in other languages". And also because I suppose it's good to have shorter names if possible.
::I realize there a few different meanings of "category", but it still seems clear that those pages are about Pokémon categories anyway.
::I also linked "List of categories in other languages" in Pokelist now. Thanks for the ideas. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 03:47, 14 August 2022 (UTC)

Hoenn Rangers Coexistence Force
Hey, I asked about mainspacing Hoenn Rangers Coexistence Force, can you do it? Or can I do it?--<span style="color:#CC0000">Rocket</span> <span style="color:#666666">Grunt</span> 18:02, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
:Thanks for letting me know about that page. I asked other admins now about it... I'm waiting for their answer, if any.
:Here's my opinion at least: I wonder if maybe that page is too small to be mainspaced at the moment.
:For what it's worth, I would argue in favor of mainspacing it if it were longer, maybe with anime / manga sections if possible at some point.
:We don't have separate pages for most of the people mentioned in the TV Mauville, right? Although it could be argued that the Hoenn Rangers Coexistence Force appears important to the Hoenn story in-universe, it seems we currently don't have much to say about them. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 18:50, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

Page for deletion?
Hello there! :D There's currently a page about Tokyo city, (https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Tokyo_City) that seems very speculative and I believe it to not be canon, could you please check it out and make a decision on whether to delete it or not? have a great day! :) ----<span style="color:#337AFF">D</span><span style="color:#337AFF">HP</span><span style="color:#7E7E7E">6</span><span style="color:#7E7E7E">13</span> 02:13, 16 November 2022 (UTC)

:Hello, thanks for letting me know about it. :D
:Yeah, that page seems very speculative at the moment.
:Personally, I'm thinking that Tokyo City should be listed somewhere as a location in the Pokémon books, but it should not be worded as a place in the anime. It should not be in the list of anime locations, in my opinion. As far as I know, what happens in the books is not canon to the anime.
:I asked other admins about it now, I'll wait to see if there's any answer. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 09:12, 16 November 2022 (UTC)

:::::Hey. I checked with the other admins the other day. Yeah, we should not have those kinds of speculative information like that.

Pokédex entry recycling
Since you created this page, I'd like to ask you about similar topic. Can I add Japanese Red and Green Pokedex entries to Pokemon pages like this ? The English translation is taken from FR with imperial units replaced with metric ones like in Japanese.

Also, ABCBoy's table could be mainspaced on the page you just made.--<span style="color:#CC0000">Rocket</span> <span style="color:#666666">Grunt</span> 11:32, 6 July 2023 (UTC)

:Hey. I let other admins know about the idea of adding Japanese Red and Green Pokédex entries to Pokémon species pages like you said. We can wait to see if anyone else has any thoughts.
:Here's a possible opinion about that: I wonder if displaying the Japanese text of that Pokédex entry is needed in this case. As an alternative idea, maybe the 151 pages for Generation I Pokémon simply could have some short text explanation like this: "Red (Jp)/Green: <small>The English version of this entry was introduced in Pokémon FireRed</small>".
:But regardless of displaying Japanese text or not, I think the Red/Green entries are needed and would be an improvement on the Pokémon species pages.
:About Abcboy's table: maybe some smaller edited version of that table could work on the Pokédex entry recycling page. The currently large table looks fine on Abcboy's user page, but in my opinion it would would probably take too much space on the mainspace, right? The table appears taller than the entire screen of my notebook, and it can potentially become larger once the table gets updated past gen 7.
:You see, personally I'm not a big fan of asterisks with tooltips* in any context. The current table has a bunch of text hidden in exactly 87 asterisks with tooltips. If we add some version of that table on the mainspace page, maybe those asterisks can be removed because the page text already explains and expands upon that information as regular text instead. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 12:48, 6 July 2023 (UTC)

List of Clothing pages
Hi, I'm bringing this up to you since you're the admin who last moved List of clothing (Generation VIII) to List of clothing (Sword and Shield). This name for the page is better at differentiating since those items are only in SwSh, not the other Gen8 games (BDSP or PLA). However, similar pages for Gen6 and Gen9 exist, which I believe should also be moved to their respective games. This not only helps in differentiating when there are multiple pages throughout a generation, it also helps search by the game names. Namely, the moves needed would be: List of clothing (Generation VI) to List of clothing (X and Y), Style (Generation VIII) to Style (Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl) or Style (BDSP) (since its shorter), and List of clothing (Generation IX) to List of clothing (Scarlet and Violet). Additionally, I also created an userspace page for clothing items in LGPE, which I hope you will approve for mainspacing to List of clothing (Let's Go, Pikachu and Eevee!) or List of clothing (LGPE). Let me know your thoughts on this. → <span style="color:#000;">PikaTe</span><span style="color:#000;">pig999</span> 08:13, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
:Hello. I must say that in your link about my page move from last year, I was actually using a different past title instead of the exact title "List of clothing (Sword and Shield)". But I like the current title anyway, in my opinion it's great that it mentions the game titles instead of the generation.
:Okay, I did the other page moves. For the moment, I think we are going to use long game titles like "Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl" so we can try to be consistent with other pages like List of in-game event Pokémon (Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl) and List of event Pokémon distributions (Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl). But I see your point about (BDSP) being shorter.
:Thanks for creating that LGPE page in your userspace. I asked other admins now if it's OK to approve it. I'd like to at least wait a bit to see if there are any answers.
:For the future, it would also be nice if all the clothing pages had the full set of images of each clothing item. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 09:22, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
::Thanks for helping with the moves. Since the moves have left redirects, I'm wondering if the redirects are notable enough? For example, while the redirect for Gen6 to X&Y page works since no other Gen6 game has clothing items, the redirect for Gen8 redirects to SwSh while BDSP and PLA pages are just as descriptive. Maybe the redirects could point to the disambiguation page clothing if the admins do not want to delete them outright.
::About the images, I'm wondering if it's necessary to have them as models from the game data, instead of direct in-game screenshots? I think screenshots work for the BDSP and LGPE pages since the outfits in those games are part of a set, but for other games, where mix-&-match occurs, there would need to be a consistent style for the screenshots. There's a lot of in-game models missing, so I wouldn't know where to get the clothing models. I'm trying to work on the LGPE screenshots, but waiting to upload them till the page gets mainspaced, as I feel such a mass upload might not be justified for a page in userspace. Do let me know the decision about my page, or if there's anything I can do to improve it to increase it's notability. → <span style="color:#000;">PikaTe</span><span style="color:#000;">pig999</span> 09:35, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
:::It's okay, thanks for your ideas and for creating the LGPE clothing page.
:::Alright, I deleted the redirects now after making sure all the links now point to the new pages.
:::Feel free to upload the clothing screenshots if you want, that would be helpful. I talked a bit with the other admins about your question of using screenshots or models. It appears to be OK to build a gallery with both the screenshots and models at some point when possible. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 01:26, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
::::Thanks a lot for your help with this topic and for mainspacing the page. I'll slowly work on all the galleries when I can. → <span style="color:#000;">PikaTe</span><span style="color:#000;">pig999</span> 15:42, 7 September 2023 (UTC)

Terminology pages
For separate pages created for noting terminology of specific terms, would it be better to have them as subpages of the originals pages instead of completely new pages? For example, Pokémon Storage System/Terminology instead of Terminology of Pokémon Storage System, and so on? → <span style="color:#000;">Pika</span><span style="color:#000;">Tepig</span><span style="color:#000;">999</span> 01:34, 30 September 2023 (UTC)
:I see what you mean, "Pokémon Storage System/Terminology" looks nice. That kind of naming system has also crossed my mind before.
:But if you don't mind, in the case of "Terminology of Legendary and Mythical Pokémon", I've been thinking that we probably won't want to split it between "Legendary Pokémon/Terminology" and "Mythical Pokémon/Terminology" since they are related terms and there's an overlap to some extent (for instance, some Legendary Pokémon being referred to as Mythical at some point, and the other way around as well). --Daniel Carrero (talk) 02:20, 30 September 2023 (UTC)
::Out of the five terminology pages that currently exist, only the one about Legendary and Mythical Pokémon would need to be kept as the outlier title.
