I see you reverted what was presumably vandalism made to the Dome and Helix Fossils page, by a user known as "THEHELIX". While I have an idea of what it said (praise helix!) for some reason the revision was removed from the history, so I can't see it. What did it say?

Also, if you are an admin, please consider restoring it. I of course don't mean putting the vandalism back, but rather putting it back in the article's history, so if anyone else is curious they can see. There's really no reason to remove a revision from an article's history unless it contains someone's personal information or something like that. (Or maybe copyrighted content, if the owners of the wiki are worried about being sued.)

Given the egregious overpowering of the psychic type in Gen. 1, I think this is interesting. I suggest maybe moving it to the balancing issues section, albeit condensed. :You're right in that it would probably fit better in that section than in the trivia sections. I'm just not sure it's necessary - the section already mentions most Bug-learning Pokémon to be Poison-type and I don't know if we need to specifically note which ones aren't. You're welcome to bring it up on the talk page if you want, the main reason I removed it from the Pokémon pages was because it didn't belong in trivia.--Cold (talk) 20:38, 18 April 2016 (UTC)

::Yes, I agree it was misplaced in the trivia, thanks for clearing that up. It just intrigued me that given the fact that some bugs weren't even part poison, there were still only three Pokémon that could do this. Perhaps though there's no relevant place to put such a nugget of wisdom. Fushigi na Alakazam (talk) 07:56, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
Gravity Page Confirmation
Hi there, I just wanted to double check about the reversion you made on the Gravity page. Since the section that mentions High Jump Kick is for an older generation when it was spelled Hi Jump Kick, the old spelling would make sense. My logic for changing it to the current spelling was that other pages seem to use current spellings when discussing older generations. The pages for Extreme Speed, Ancient Power and Soft-Boiled are good examples. Anyway, it's a small formatting issue, and it's my first edit on the site so I will leave the final word to you! TenebrousRook (talk) 06:18, 16 May 2016 (UTC)
:Well, I believe that High Jump Kick was formatted as Hi Jump Kick in Generation IV, and so it is written as its previous spelling under 'In Generation IV' section. Harryghost (talk) 07:53, 16 May 2016 (UTC)
::Soft-Boiled's page uses old spellings for old generations, but you got me on Extreme Speed and Ancient Power. I suppose I'll offer Smelling Salts and High Jump Kick itself as counter-examples, we do seem to have an inconsistency on which spelling is preferred though. I'll ask an admin about it when I have time.--Cold (talk) 13:27, 16 May 2016 (UTC)
Changed my Edit
I was told that the reason Pokemon such as Magnezone are not in the Sinnoh Handbook because they are exclusive to Platinum, However Magnezone Etc. are in Diamond and Pearl and are not in the Sinnoh Handbook. So why can't I say that they are excluded from this handbook. 4Corry
:Tiddlywinks answered you pretty well on the article's talk page. Sorry if my edit summary wasn't clear. The handbook doesn't cover Sinnoh Pokémon as a whole, but rather the ones present in the regional Pokédex, which at the time excluded Pokémon like Magnezone. So it made sense that those Pokémon didn't have entries in the book.

Elemental Monkeys edit
Very true. Scientifically, they are not monkeys, but it's semantics, as colloquially they are. I accept the revision, however I am curious about the inclusion of Chimchar and it being based off of a chimpanzee (is it not?), which is not a monkey. Just curious of that inclusion. -Uncleben85 (talk) 18:31, 4 January 2017 (UTC)
:Yeah, I was hesitant to revert at first since I know people tend to refer to apes as monkeys in everyday language. In the end I figured the article should just avoid the possible inaccuracy, especially since the list isn't necessarily all-inclusive. I wasn't actually aware that Chimchar was based on a chimpanzee until you pointed it out :P, but both its evolutions are based on monkeys and its origin section mentions baboons anyhow, so hopefully that's enough to qualify it. If necessary it could be replaced with Monferno/Infernape but I feel that having Chimchar there represents the entire line better, if that makes any sense.--Cold (talk) 23:33, 5 January 2017 (UTC)
Unown
Hello. On the page for Unown, you removed my trivia because non-legendary/mythical exceptions aren't allowed. These exceptions have happened and I've seen them quite frequently. For example: On Slaking's page, it says in the trivia: "Outside of Legendary and Mythical Pokémon and Mega Evolution, Slaking has the highest base stat total of all Pokémon." So it does happen and I would like to know why my Trivia is not similar for Unown. Thanks. The IceCream (talk) 18:54, 6 January 2018 (UTC)
:(Sorry to butt in on your page, Cold, but I went ahead and removed the Slaking point so I thought I should explain.) Many people try to add things that don't pass policy, and if someone doesn't notice the addition on the Recent Changes or their Watchlist, it can easily slip through the cracks and remain on the page indefinitely. I've removed that point from Slaking, and if you ever notice anything else like that, feel free to remove it yourself or let me know and I'll do it! Thanks! Ok. So, is it true that trainers in gen 1 will always send out Pokemon in a specific order as opposed to the later games base on type matchup (which is not always the same). For instance, Green will send by Pidgeot - Alakazam - Rhydon - Gyarados - Arcanine - Venusaur but in FRLG he will send in Venusaur if palyer has a water type, Alakazam if Poison, etc. RubyLeafGreenCrystal (talk) 02:00, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
:My main concern is what you mean by "trainers" - Is it just Blue, or (and this is how I interpreted it when I reverted) do all trainers in Gen I have this behavior (or even just other trainers with boss Pokémon such as Gym Leaders/E4)? If it's the latter, then it's not specific to Blue, and imo would be better suited in an article describing NPC AI (if we even have anything like that) than as a trivia point on one specific trainer's page. Even if it's the former, I'd really prefer a definitive source other than "I noticed a pattern" before we add trivia implying that we went through the game's code to confirm it, but I'd probably leave that debate to someone more experienced.--Cold (talk) 02:13, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
TM data for PMD
Hey Cold, I was wondering since you're working on PMD data to a certain extent if you could also look into costs and sell prices for the TMs in the PMD games. Thanks in advance! I should have checked first but no, I don't believe they are correct. Thankfully another user changed them back.
