This experiment led to the forced evolution of a {{p|Magikarp}} into a {{TP|Lance|Red Gyarados|Gyarados}}, thus causing the events of ''Talkin' 'Bout an Evolution'' and ''[[EP236|Rage of Innocence]]''. When {{Ash}}, {{an|Misty}}, and {{an|Brock}} arrived at the [[Lake of Rage]], Tyson attacked them due to their sighting of the Gyarados. He was determined to keep them from leaving the lake with knowledge of Team Rocket's plans, but his assault was thwarted by {{an|Lance}} and his {{TP|Lance|Dragonite}}. | |||
