I don't see the point of this template. You can easily achieve the same effect by typing <nowiki>[[wp:Link|]]</nowiki> (take note of the trailing bar), which is automatically transformed into <nowiki>[[wp:Link|Link]]</nowiki> by the software. ::You would, before, have to type in, where ''pagename'' is the name of the page you are linking to, <nowiki>[[wp:''pagename''|''pagename'']]</nowiki>, which could get tedious with long article names, but now, you only have to type <nowiki>{{wp:''pagename''}}</nowiki>, which is much shorter.
