:I considered that, but decided on subtemplates because I figured it would be easier since some templates would only use one box while others (Viridian, Fuschia, Sootopolis, Indigo) use two boxes. Just curious, but could this template be updated to allow the None text in the Connecting locations section to be replaced with custom text in cases like Phenac City and other location in Orre? ::True, but could the template somehow be updated so that it be noted that it connects to the rest of Orre or something?  Maybe like {{#if: {{{center|}}}}} as it can be said that Phenac City is connected to Orre.
