Y'know, Buzz...

I tend to use the switch statements to reduce the amount of subtemplates... so we could do that instead. TTEchidna 06:58, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

I considered that, but decided on subtemplates because I figured it would be easier since some templates would only use one box while others (Viridian, Fuschia, Sootopolis, Indigo) use two boxes. We could go with switching if you feel it's better. --electAbuzzzz 09:02, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

Gym

I want to add in Pre Gym... only problem is that there's no badge. Can someone add parsers in so it's similar to Infobox Island? ht14 06:07, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Or possibly allow this to be optional... although... meh... ht14 06:09, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
What, you mean to the Phenac City article? Hmmmm... To be honest, I'm not sure you SHOULD add it in there... I mean, it's not an official gym... No badge, no type, no nothing... --electAbuzzzz 08:47, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
Well... he gives out a TM... that's something... speaking of which, another parser could be added for that as well... ht14 22:45, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Third Gym Leader

This template can only handle two Gym Leaders, but there are three in Sanyou City in Black and White. Can the template be edited? PhantomJunkie 16:30, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Badge redirect

| class="roundyright" valign="bottom" style="background:#FFFFFF; border-left: 1px solid #{{{{{gymtype2|{Unknown}}}} color light}};" | <br><small>{{color|000|{badge} Badge}}</small> |}

This badge link isn't same as the first gymtype parameter one. Can someone change this to avoid redirects? AKUro? あくロちゃん 00:12, 9 January 2012 (UTC)

Done. --SnorlaxMonster 14:44, 9 January 2012 (UTC)

Orre

Just curious, but could this template be updated to allow the None text in the Connecting locations section to be replaced with custom text in cases like Phenac City and other location in Orre? Otherwise, it states that nothing connects to locations similar to Phenac City even though other locations are selectable. --Super goku (talk) 05:50, 6 November 2012 (UTC)

Well technically, nothing does connect the locations in Orre. There is no route that are traversal within the region.--ForceFire 05:54, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
True, but could the template somehow be updated so that it be noted that it connects to the rest of Orre or something? Maybe like as it can be said that Phenac City is connected to Orre. (I just do not like how the template uses None since Phenac City is, in essence, connected to other locations by the Map of Orre.) --Super goku (talk) 06:14, 6 November 2012 (UTC)

Interactive Map

In the sandbox, in one of the sections there was something posted, an interactive map that allowed you to click on one of the cities, towns, or routes to jump to it's page. What if that were done with this template? -EVsAndIVsaurs (Talk) 17:26, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

Kalos VS

Could someone update the template so we can edit the size of the VS sprites if we need (Seeming we do need for the Generation VI ones). Thanks. ----samm :D 16:38, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

Kukui

Could this template be updated to change "Champion" to something else on the Alola Pokemon League article (e.g. Pokemon Professor)? It displays "Champion Kukui", despite the fact he's not the champion, merely the final battle after the Elite Four. --Dorsal Axe (talk) 22:26, 3 December 2016 (UTC)

badge2 param

...is needed, but doesn't exist. Should probably default to badge param. Nescientist (talk) 11:58, 22 November 2019 (UTC)

Error with [direction]2 links

Noticed this on the Circhester page's infobox. It has Route 8 and Route 9 to the south of it. The link for Route 8 works properly (Galar_Route_8), but Route 9 is broken (GalarRoute_9). The reason is a missing space in the template code, specifically on line 111. It reads:

}}} {south}|<span style="color:#000;">{{{southalt|{south}}}}</span> {{#if: {}|and }}}{south2}|<span style="color:#000;">{{{south2alt|{south2}}}}</span>}}

but should be:

}}} {south}|<span style="color:#000;">{{{southalt|{south}}}}</span> {{#if: {}|and }}} {south2}|<span style="color:#000;">{{{south2alt|{south2}}}}</span>}}

...okay that's probably hard to notice. Specifically, these parts [[{} {south2} need a space between them.

Looks like East (line 102) and West (line 96) have the same problem. North looks fine. Burly Heart (talk) 13:30, 20 December 2019 (UTC)

I've temporarily fixed this issue at Circhester, which seems to be the only article where it actually occurs. Nescientist (talk) 17:34, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
I believe it. I'd made that workaround on Circhester myself, but rolled it back when I spotted the error in the template code (in case it was happening elsewhere). Obviously it's better in the long run to fix it here, and hopefully whoever does so also reverts the Circhester edit. Cheers. Burly Heart (talk) 06:05, 24 December 2019 (UTC)
I've fixed the template. --SnorlaxMonster 11:39, 9 January 2020 (UTC)

Generation IV maps

With Kanto being featured in 5 different generations, locations that have a LGPE image in their article's infobox (such as Indigo Plateau) are now missing their HGSS maps.

I'm not particularly fond of the way we put those maps in the main infobox (instead of a dedicated section, as we have in other articles), but as long as we are doing this, we should include a parameter that allows generation IV maps to be shown there as well. Suic (talk) 22:09, 2 July 2020 (UTC)

Let's Go Indigo Plateau

Currently the template is only designed to handle two sets of Elite 4 members, can this be updated to support a "leaguetitle3" and associated third slot so the Indigo Plateau infobox can be updated to show the LGPE Elite 4 and Champion Trace? Atrius97 (talk) 05:27, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
