Team GO Rocket is a villainous team in pursuit of evil and the exploitation of Pokémon. They are based operating in the workd of the side-mobile game Pokémon GO.
Modus operandi
One Team Go Rocket Grunt might take over a PokéStop to steal items and resources from it. Such a PokéStop are displayed with a darker color on the open world of Pokémon GO and it will unfold black with a red R sign on top of it when the trainer approaches it. Upon interaction with the PokéStop, the Grunt will initiate a dialog with the trainer that may lead to a battle between the trainer and the Grunt. The Grunt uses a Shadow Pokémon for battle. Upon defeat of the Grunt, the trainer will receive Stardust and XP and the Grunt will leave the PokéStop abandoning his or her Shadow Pokémon behind him or her. The trainer will have a chance to capture the Shadow Pokémon with Premier Balls he was awarded with at the end of the battle.
