The base is essentially the same, though there is less water, all Aqua members are replaced by Magma members, and [[Aqua Admin Matt|Matt]] is replaced by [[Tabitha]]{{sup/3|Ru}} or {{FB|Magma Admin|Courtney}}{{sup/6|OR}}.

==Role==

In Sapphire, the entrance to the hideout is sealed after defeating Tate and Liza, meaning the player can [[Permanently missable items|no longer collect]] any items or battle any Trainers inside.

In [[Pokémon Adventures]], the Aqua Hideout briefly makes an appearance in ''[[PS232|Always Keep Whiscash on You for Emergencies]]'' when [[Maxie]] and [[Tabitha]] are let in to join their resources with Team Aqua for the time being so that they reach the [[Seafloor Cavern]] safely. Many [[Grunt]]s from both teams are also taken as backup.

:Based on the description, the picture likely features young [[Archie]] and Shelly with {{p|Jirachi}}. The date described can possibly be the 7th of July, the date of {{wp|Tanabata}}, the Japanese star festival which Jirachi is commonly associated with, while the year is likely 2002, the year when {{game|Ruby and Sapphire|s}} were first released. In the Spanish version of the game, the date is slightly altered, showing the year number –003 instead of –002. This is a possible reference to [[List of Japanese voice actors|Tomiko Suzuki]], the voice actor who voiced {{OBP|Jirachi|M06}} in ''[[M06|Jirachi: Wish Maker]]'' and died of a heart attack on July 7, 2003, the same date as Tanabata was held.
