:About restrictions, I believe this should include more than just species restrictions (like no HMs etc.), not sure if your point included that; maybe all the details can be offloaded to the individual pages, but I'm pretty sure it's something the hub should include. (Ideally, all I need to answer "Can I transfer <Pokémon> with <move> from <game> to <game>, and if so by what means?" is a brief look at this page and that's it.)

:I agree with the rest. As for the things you're unsure about, I believe those are less important, but should still be here!? Maybe have two main headers, one between core games only, one for the rest!? (Just spitballing.) [[User:Nescientist|Nescientist]] ([[User talk:Nescientist|talk]]) 15:05, 30 May 2022 (UTC)

== Move resets ==
Just adding detail to a recent edit summary: I'm arguing it's unjustified speculation to say that move resets occur "starting in Gen 8", with the following partial piece of evidence:
* Transferring a Pokemon from GO to mobile HOME that is incompatible with all Gen 8 games causes it to display its USUM moveset. There would be no reason to do this if the moveset were about to be reset upon transfer to Gen 9 (the player would see four moves they never get to use anywhere). They could've just displayed a greyed-out moveset like Switch HOME does when connected to an incompatible game, but they chose not to.
