Similar data will probably make Pokémon caught in a Gen II ball display as being caught in something else (probably a standard Poké Ball), while the balls themselves can't be traded to DPP (similar to how the Griseous Orb can't be traded from Platinum to Diamond and Pearl). ::::::I doubt they'll make pokeballs this time around, because it'd be hard to make a work around, and plus there's already so many new pokeballs, we don't really NEED the Kurt exclusive ones.
