Japanese name

So I don't know how I'd put this in the article, but I know for sure it's spelled "オツキミやま" in Generation III... but it's "おつきみやま" (just replacing the katakana for hiragana) in IV. What's the spelling in I and II, and where would I note this on the article? ▫▫ティナ 22:06, 22 May 2010 (UTC)

Well, I found my old Japanese copy of Pokémon Yellow, and it was spelled as "オツキミやま" in there, if that helps. I don't know about Generation II, though. Wolf 22:50, 22 May 2010 (UTC)

Paras

Maybe it's just my rotten luck, but I'm playing the Japanese Red right now, and I haven't found a single Paras in the whole cave, but I managed to meet two Clefairy. I don't know if Paras is absent in the Japanese version, but either that, or I think it's rarer or something. Krisi 12:11, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

Okay, it turns out Mt. Moon in fact has paras in it (according to the Pokédex), but I wish that somebody could check if they're rarer in the Japanese version. Krisi 18:21, 29 October 2010 (UTC)
I think that they can just be found in certain corridors between stairs--Ash0011 01:06, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Mysterious Power?

In HeartGold and SoulSiver, the Pokegear said that Mt. Moon "now holds a mysterious power". I'm going to test if Magneton and Nosepass can evolve to Magnezone and Probopass respectively there. --Tony YKS, posted on 24/9/2011

They don't. Tried it. --SnorlaxMonster 15:25, 24 September 2011 (UTC)
Oh, no! Then how can we evolve Magneton and Nosepass? And what does the mysterious power mean? --Tony YKS, replied at 8:10AM, 25/9/2011(Hong Kong Standard Time).
Trade them to a Sinnoh game, evolve, trade back. Those kinds of references, as with the Pokedex entries are usually just flavour text that has no in-game basis. They are, however, often expanded on in other media. (anime, manga etc.) Also, if you sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~) it automatically adds the timestamp in UTC for you.
