What form is the base form?

Currently Bulbapedia lists Family of Four as the based form based on how official art of Maushold released. In internal game code however, suggests that Family of Three is the base form in spite of the rarity. Since the official media seems to conflict with what the internal game code suggests, which of the two forms should be considered the base form? CoolMan6001 (talk) 16:17, 24 January 2023 (UTC)

Do you have any source claiming that Family of Three is the base form?--Rocket Grunt 17:08, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
Family of Four is the default form because Family of Three is a lot rarer. like A LOT rarer. At least, that's what i think is the logic behind the forms being sorted as such. Anzasquiddles (talk) 18:37, 24 January 2023 (UTC)

Here's the pastebin that lists the weights and other miscelaneous info for Pokémon. (This lists Pokémon in their internal Generation IX order like the other datamines do) In the list "Maushold" is listed with 23 as the weight while "Maushold-1" (signaling a form change) is listed with 28 as weight. The datamines hosted on Smogon (https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/datamine-thread-pokemon-information-some-datamines.3710011/) list Pokémon like this too.
It is very bizzare since Dudunsparce, the other mon this applies to, actualy has the more common two-segment form as the base form. Since marketing doesn't seem to agree that Family of Three is the base form, I thouht it was worth bringing up. CoolMan6001 (talk) 20:21, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
