I don't think the trivia "Giovanni's Persian and James' Mime Jr. are never used in battle" is true. While it is true that you've never seen Giovanni's Persian used in battle, James' Mime Jr. was used in a battle against Francesca's Chingling in The Bells Are Singing!.
I am going to delete that, now.
ShinjiLover 04:20, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Shiny Persian... or not?
I just decided to watch the older episodes since I missed out on it (including the last few of season 1, since our cable company decided to turn that channel from basic cable to a specific cable package, which we never bothered to get; we never got the channel locally). In episode "84 (A Scare in the Air)" in season 2/Orange League, it doesn't seem like Persian is really a shiny. I am a huge Persian fan personally, and I'm all for the shiny theory, but in this episode, the ears honestly look more tannish than pinkish. Can someone else verify this with maybe a few different episodes where Giovanni's Persian is shown? It has a slight pinkish look, but honestly, tan can look pinkish in some cases. I don't want to edit the article without more proof or anything. I mean, older episodes can tend to have crappier quality, so this is why I want to make sure on this... I don't want to feel like an idiot without getting more proof for it. Espeonage64
