+It should be noted that a retcon would have to be made, especially with the context of XY, for ORAS to be able to exist parrallel to XY as both it and Kanto take place at the same time before Sinnoh and Johto which is before the Unova saga. XY happens at the same as B2W2, which happens 2 years after BW, which happen unknown time after DPPt/HGSS, which happen unknown time after RSE/FRLG. I don't see the problem. +Should it be mentioned that this is the first generation to receive remakes but not to receive updated art from Ken Sugimori for all the Pokémon introduced in the original games? When FRLG came out Gen I Pokémon we got new art, and when HGSS came out Gen II Pokémon got new art. Outside of maybe one or two Pokémon and not counting Megas, We've not gotten any official art to replace the original Gen III art. This fact is present in [[Pokémon X and Y]] ("playable in all seven of the languages...") but not [[Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire]].
