An alar dragon exists in the picture of Japan. It becomes Sea-dragon if kairyu is translated, and it agrees to the name of a Japanese version. Sawamular101 21:51, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Anime Accidentily refered Dragonite as a legendary pokemon
In the Episode Enter the Dragonite on the Dragon DVD I believe it is volume 8 the last episode called Enter the Dragonite the announcer during the battle refers to it as a legendary pokemon although this was probably an error in the English dub since I do not know what he said the the Japanese one so I am not sure if they made the same error but would this be worth noting in the trivia section? Marchbaby
I went ahead and added it since it has been 3 day with no reply. Feel free to rewrite it or to make any nessicary changes.--Marchbaby 16:00, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
Another Dragonite/Lugia connection
In the anime episode, A Parent Trapped!, an episode featuring Lugia, the answer for the Who's that Pokémon? is Dragonite. Is this worth mentioning? --<span style="color:navy">☆FiMbUlWiNtEr2O|2☆</span> 18:01, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
:Do you meant the English or Japanese one? Because by that time in the anime, the english one became completely random. <small><span style="color:white; background-color:blue">X</span><span style="color:blue; background-color:white">Vuvuzela2010</span><span style="color:white; background-color:blue">X</span></small> 20:32, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
::Really? Well, I just watched the English one on pokémon.com, and it was Dragonite, and on the page for the episode it shows the answer for that episode as Dragonite. --<span style="color:navy">☆FiMbUlWiNtEr2O|2☆</span> 23:26, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
:::I think Vuvuzela2010 means "random" as in "having no connection to the content of the episode," not as in "varying every time the episode is shown."  —Minimiscience 23:33, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
Underleveled
Should it be mentioned in the trivia that Dragonite can be caught underleveled at Dragonspiral Tower? King Riolu 23:04, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
:There are tons of places where tons of different Pokémon can be caught underleveled, and we don't mention any of those.  So no.  —Minimiscience 23:07, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
Dragonite Wasn't Unknown at the Lighthouse...
So I'm watching the anime here from DVD, and I finished watching Mystery at the Lighthouse, featuring what appears to be a giant Dragonite that Bill couldn't identify. However, in the very next episode, Electric Shock Showdown, the Pokédex analyzes Lt. Surge's Raichu and states it can generate enough voltage to bring down a Dragonite... Maybe the ocean was just too foggy that night to identify what it was? --GuyPerfect (talk) 03:07, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
:I think it's less Dragonite being unknown, and more the characters not realizing it's a Dragonite. After all, it's in silhouette and huge by comparison to normal Dragonite. == Kairyu ==
The Katakana and Romaji for Dragonite's name don't match. I believe It should either have Kairyū as Romaji or カイりゅ as the Katakana, but I'm not sure which one is correct. IVsaur
:What's there now is its official romanization. --<span style="color:#009900">It's</span> <span style="color:#CC66FF">Funktastic~!</span><small><span style="color:#99CCFF">話してください</span></small> 00:07, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
::Huh... That's kind of surprising to me, but I guess I'll let it be since it's the official. -<span style="color:lightbrown">EVs</span><small><span style="color:black">and</span></small><span style="color:green">IVsaurs</span> 11:33, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
Squished...?
On this page, the Dragonite picture is squished... this isn't the only page that the thumbnails are squished (one of the others is Meloetta), so I was wondering if the squishing is my browser's fault, or if there's actually something wrong with the pics that someone can fix. (Hey that rhymed!) Nutter Butter (talk) 20:17, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
:New images were uploaded. I guess it's just a caching issue. Wait a couple of days at most and it should have fixed itself. ☆<span style="font-family:Algerian"><span style="color:green">The</span> <span style="color:red">Solar</span> <span style="color:blue">Dragon</span></span>☆ 20:19, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
::It's been like this for two weeks... I've been waiting for that exact reason and I finally got annoyed. And also, apparently Meloetta isn't squished... it's Larvitar. I've been looking up those two Pokémon a lot today so I got confused. Nutter Butter (talk) 20:30, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
:::If it's been going on for two weeks then it's probably not on the Bulbapedia side. The images were all fine until we started changing them a few days ago, and they'll fix themselves soon, once the servers sync. The Meloetta/Larvitar issue you mention also isn't happening for me, my guess would be a caching issue of some sort in your browser. Try clearing your cache (Ctrl + F5 for Windows, Cmd + F5 for Mac in most browsers). If all images are stretched/squashed, make sure that your screen resolution setting is the right one for your monitor, a widescreen resolution on a non-widescreen monitor (or vice versa) would cause stretching. <span class="sc"><span style="color:#2D4B98;">Werdnae</span></span> <small><span style="color:#009000;">(talk)</span></small> 22:17, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
Dragonite Skull in Ambrette Town research facility
So, is it too "speculatory" to state that the skull on the top shelf in the Ambrette Town research facility is that of a Dragonite's?
The shape of the skull and even the "horn" are all identical to Dragonite's Yamitora1 (talk) 12:36, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
:...So? It's a skull, sitting on a shelf. You can't interact with it and it's never mentioned. Why's it worth noting? Glik (talk) 13:45, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
::There is no need for an attitude, and its notworthy because its not everyday we get to see a Pokémon Skull beyond the cubone line. Yamitora1 (talk) 18:12, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
:::The only attitude is one of mild confusion. As I said, the game gives no importance to it and it's not particularly interesting, so why should it be noted? While skulls aren't as common, it is an everyday occurrence for things in the Pokémon world to come from or look like Pokémon. Parfum Palace has several statues of Pokémon, but they're not notable enough for a trivia point, especially not on their species' pages; they're simply something in the background, being decorative. This isn't even the first time a dragon's skull List of key items in Generation V in the games, so it's not like we've never seen one before. Glik (talk) 19:04, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
::::You just made it notable, if not on this article, then on that article since it's clear that item is the same skull as seen on the shelf. Yamitora1 (talk) 21:38, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
:::::I fail to see how Glik made it notable.  The only thing that has been proven is that it isn't the only skull in the game.  All it is is just a bit of noise to fill the void.  --Super goku (talk) 06:14, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
Because it was an Item in Gen V, now its a visual element in the Gen VI games. Ok its like how the truck in gen I had the mew rumors and the remakes in Gen III put a Lava Cookie there as a somewhat Easter egg and acknowledgment to those old rumors. Something is made notable from something from the past. For all we know Lenora sent the skull off to be research and it ended up in the lab. That's speculation I know, but anything is possible. After all these games take place after the others (so much for RSE remakes, but R2S2 still possible) so who knows. Regardless, it still bears the likeness of Dragonite, and I think its worth noting on either or both articles this likeness. == Getting an Error Message? ==
I know this isn't the most relevant place to ask, but on some pages, the pictures won't load, and give me this error message:
Error creating thumbnail: convert: no decode delegate for this image format `/tmp/magick--xMnp6WD' @ error/constitute.c/ReadImage/532.
convert: missing an image filename `/tmp/transform_e71fe8d8de34-1.png' @ error/convert.c/ConvertImageCommand/3011.
I've tried searching the error up, and everyone says it's an error on ImageMagick, which from my understanding is a program MediaWiki uses? Nowhere have I found a solution, and today is the first time I've seen this error on these pages. Could someone help?
