Not too long ago I requested a source to verify when it was confirmed to be female. Apparently it was confirmed in a website that no longer exists. This most certainly makes the source invalid and without a valid source there is no way of confirming its gender, all information must be verifiable and without proof it should in my view be changed to "unknown".
