Im late here but yes this is on the right track for sure, Daruma specifically refers to the Japanese name for buddhist Bodhidharma whose enlightenment (as also mentioned on this page somewhere) was reached through the self sacrifice of his limbs and eyelids. Though zen mode isnt completely void of limbs it still makes for an awesome nug of knowledge. | |||
