==Effect==
Snipe Shot deals damage and has an increased [[critical hit]] ratio. It is unaffected by moves and Ability effects that draw in moves, such as {{m|Follow Me}} and {{a|Storm Drain}}.

Prior to Version 1.2.0 of {{pkmn|Sword and Shield}}, if Snipe Shot was selected by {{m|Metronome}}, the move would fail (as Metronome targets oneself when it is used).

In [[Double Battle]]s, due to a glitch, Snipe Shot will fail if called via {{m|Sleep Talk}}.
