As they arrive in the city, they are welcomed by a fanfare, having been declared as the one-millionth visitor to Saffron City. This is revealed to be a plot by {{TRT}} to steal Pikachu, and they are sent to a sealed room by a [[warp tile|Warp Tile]]. A little girl appears in a blue light, carrying Pikachu, and using psychic powers teleports them out. This little girl is revealed to be Sabrina's doll, and she is the reason why they escaped Team Rocket. Ash eagerly accepts Sabrina's challenge to a [[Gym]] Battle. Sabrina sends out her {{p|Abra}} and Ash sends out Pikachu. However, Abra is fast asleep, seemingly unable to battle.
