Necrozma then defeats and absorbs the Legendary Pokémon to become {{DL|List of Pokémon with form differences|Necrozma|Dusk Mane}}{{sup/7|US}}/{{DL|List of Pokémon with form differences|Necrozma|Dawn Wings}}{{sup/7|UM}} Necrozma. A fellow youth along with the Guardian deities use the power of the [[Z-Crystal]]s and [[Sparkling Stone]]s to free Solgaleo{{sup/7|US}}/Lunala{{sup/7|UM}} from Necrozma, who was then banished from Alola. At as a result of its actions, Necrozma was called the "Pillager of Light" by the ancient king of Alola who ordered all books mentioning Necrozma burned to prevent further panic.
