In Japan, this card was first released as one of the {{TCG|BW-P Promotional cards}}, and was awarded to participants of the Victory Cup events held over the course of Battle Carnival 2011. The Battle Carnival took place at the Mydome Osaka, Osaka on November 5 and 6, 2012, and at Sunshine City, Tokyo on November 19 and 20, 2012. It was subsequently released in the Japanese {{TCG|Dark Rush}} expansion. The English release was in the {{TCG|Dark Explorers}} expansion.
