The annual [[Purika City]] {{pkmn|Contest}} took place in ''[[AG103|A Cacturne for the Worse]]''. where {{an|May}} met her new [[rival]] [[Harley]]. Despite Harley's underhanded tactics during the final round, May won her fourth [[Ribbon]].

[[Sigourney]] is the current sage of Izabe Island. In ''[[AG104|Claydol Big and Tall]]'', he explained "The Great Destruction", a catastrophic event caused by a {{pkmn2|giant}} {{p|Claydol}} that threatened the island over a thousand years ago.
